I can repair all faults that affect the ESA and ETACS modules as fitted to the LDV Maxus range of vans.

The ESA (Entry System & Alarm) module is responsible for the Central Locking and Alarm System.

The Pektron part number is 587 700 010 and is printed on the white label on the module case.

This module can suffer from water ingress but more common is failure of one or more of the three onboard control relays.

Relay failure will result in some doors locking but not unlocking etc. 

The ESA module is located behind the dash in the passenger footwell.

The repair service consists of replacing all three relays, a full functional test and I also coat the circuit board in a special protective lacquer.

Please note; for this service to be successful the fob must be working and at minimum should cause the indicators to flash when the buttons are pressed.

To allow me to test your module fully, please include one remote control withe the faulty module.

The cost for this service is £45 (UK Customers) and £52 (EU Customers), return delivery is included.

ESA module dead.

No indicator flash on arm or disarm.

No alarm trigger operation.

Horn does not sound on alarm.

The ETACS (Electronic Timing And Control System) module is responsible for the majority of the "body" electrical control functions;

Indicators.

Hazard Warning.

Intermittent Wiper.

Lights On warning.

Rear Fog Lights.

Heated Mirrors.

Heated Rear Window.

Depending on the version of the module it will have one of the following part numbers, 587 610 006 or 587 610 007 and this will be printed on the white label on the module case.

The most common problem is failure of the two onboard control relays which result in no intermittent

wiper function and/or rear fog lights.

The ETACS module is located behind a plastic panel where the centre console section of the dash meets the floor.

The repair service consists of replacing both relays, a full functional test and I also coat the circuit board in a special protective lacquer.

The cost for this service is £40 (UK Customers) and £47 (EU Customers), return delivery is included.
